Class fee includes range fees, targets, the required classroom instruction and the certificate of completion. Student is required to supply 50 rounds of ammunition for their caliber firearm. NO Reloaded ammo. Students also need a handgun. Your instructor will also rent a 9mm handgun for $25/per person ($55/per person if you also need ammo) for the range qualification, advanced notice is required and the rental fee must be paid prior to class day. |

TXDPS requires this class certification.
- It requires each student to fire 50 rounds total at different distances 3yrd/7yrd/15yrd
- It also requires minimum of 4 hrs classroom instruction of required TXDPS information.
- A test is administered at end of class and a pass/fail is given for both range and classroom. Also a certificate of completion will be given to each passing student that they send to TXDPS along with other info that can be found on their website.
- Classes are approximately 6 hours, which includes classroom instruction and range qualification.
